Church today -- 1/15/12

Elder Dallin H. Oaks said, "The ordinance of the sacrament makes the sacrament meeting the most sacred and important meeting in the Church" (Read his talk).

By partaking of the sacrament, we our renewing our baptismal covenants which are to

• Serve the Lord;
• Keep His commandments;
• Bear the burdens of others;
• Take the name of Christ upon us;
• Mourn with those who mourn;
• Comfort those that need comfort
• Stand as a witness of God at all times, in all things, and in all places (Mosiah 18:8-10).
