Service in the ward

The priesthood from the ward were in service today, helping a brother and his mom with work in their yard on Liula Place in Keapuka (see below for a "before" shot).

The brethren labored for three hours, cutting and hauling and digging. Much was accomplished.

Service: Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup -- March 3, 2012

Quorum members were in service today, picking up trash along Likelike Highway as part of the community's adopt-a-highway program.  Mahalo nui for the good work.

The next trash-pickup service outing will be on May 5, 2012, Saturday.

Family Home Evening cancelled

The potluck dinner and Family Home Evening scheduled for  Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Parkway Rec Center has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for an upcoming Monday.  When a date is obtained, we will let you know.

Church today 2/5/12

Today is Super Bowl Sunday, a day when church attendance sometimes wanes.  Let's just say that there was ample seating in the chapel today.  

Bishop Oshiro is away (on a trip to Utah).  He will return on Wednesday.  Meanwhile, the work of salvation in the ward continues.
